Unit 32 Idents purpose

TV idents use idents for many different reasons. The main one is to get an image into the audience head. They use their own style to show the sign of the channel there broadcasting from.  They do it in a certain time frame not to lose the audience attention but enough for them to take note of the ident. They need to show their independence from other channels and use idents as a clever tool because it’s simple and creative which catches audience attention without really knowing because we like to watch creativity. They also like to see how it comes together which is helping the audience to see their ident. Before starting they must also realise that they can’t go to farfetched for example they can’t use cricket balls to make the ident on a football pitch because this would have no relevance so they need to blend in with the background so channel 4 cleverly use many of this techniques but they sue the bowlers green quite well cause they use the bushes to project a shadow on the floor.

unit 29 Music Video Evaluation

Evaluation:-
Our music video has come a long way from an idea to different change of songs to are final article which we feel is a major success. As a team of media students we have produced a music video which feel strongly on and also feel like we have made major strides in editing and also confidence during this project. This reason we feel like we have grown more confident because we had to appear in a video which everyone could view because of it being on blogger. In the end of the video we wasn’t bothered and anything was proud to show are work to a wider range of audience because we was happy with our achievements.
There is many positives many of highlighted but most of all I think as a team we really blossomed because we had a few stumbling blocks such as change of music video to location and Keiran at the start of the year wasn’t the most reliable but as a team we pulled through used resources at hand and as a team helped each other edit showing s different effects and how to edit so we could achieve the best video going.
Negatives was we found really hard to use the green screen it was unreliable and couldn’t use some background we wanted but as a team we work through it. Also we really wanted to represent the music video to a good standard so we will find it a negative if people don’t think its to a good standard.
To conclude I feel that this project was a major success with many benfits and was a good experience to make a music video and edit something we created and have the freedom to use power director and experiment with it.

Unit 2 Propsal for ident draft

Proposal for:
We had proposed an ident for park hall media.


Objectives:
Our objectives were to make an original idea of an ident but also enhancing the successful ideas from the past and not copying but breaking their idea and then changed and building to a better standard in our own image suitable for park hall media department.



Vision
-          What you hope to achieve
We had hoped to achieve a successful ident suitable to represent the media department but also an ident within our own image which was important to us. We wanted to be creative and we have hoped to succeed in this.
-          How you hope to achieve it
Well how we think we achieved this was by breaking down a successful ident and looking and changing their style and how they produced it and then broke it down and changed it but keeping their basic idea for example if they put a spinning z we would of changed it in our own image but have some resemblance so we had an I spinning out of the ground. This is how we felt to approach this because It felt like this would push are skills by using this technique because we had to make it very similar yet very different.  We used a lot of our                                                                                      own material and the idea of characters pulling the letters was our own idea ad this was a successful we felt.



Where we are now:
We are happy to say that we have completed are ident and as a group we feel we have done a good job.

What’s next
We need to analyse are results and evaluate them to show what others think bout are ident.
Difficulties
Are difficulties were they abilities within the group because some struggled to use plastince why some struggled to make a good evaluation but as a group we overcome this problem and everyone got involved to produce are ident.

We used wilkepdia to gather are information for the different idents. We used them to compare them to are’s for a nearby professional standard and aimed to replicated that to our ident.

Unit 29 Music Video First draft of music video

Scriptboard:-

We are making are music video on Jme and Tempz  a grime collaboration which features two of the best grime artist in the U.K. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8zE44mUBJU This link is to the video of the music video of Cd is dead. We are going to try and recreate this music video with are own stamp on it. There are two different artists in this music video which have different tempo in the song. We must be able to mime most of the words so for this we picked people with the best ability to do the more up tempo bits while the more  slow tempo beats to the people who find it more difficult.

Location:-
   We had debates over where we could to do this music video. We discussed the surroundings that would make it more grimy and fits the video while not copying there original idea. We discussed the shopping centre and also on school property and decided to choice this because grime is usually done with low budgets and no mainsteam backing and we wanted to replicate this so decided to do it in a school classroom.
Job roles and who they are:-
The different jobs we have was easy to decide. This was because Neale likes to work as a camera man while Keiran decided on the video to do but was agreed by both Jordan and Neale. While Jordan doesn’t mind going on camera and finds it easiest out of the group and Keiran will be Tempz while I will be Jme.
